HI! I'M SARAH KOWALSKI.
Single Mother by Choice, Life Coach, author and founder of Motherhood Reimagined.™
I began helping women navigate their own unique path to motherhood after I was forced to let go of the fairy tale vision of my life, and embraced a path to motherhood I never imagined. And, now I wouldn't change a thing.
My work with mothers to be and mothers combines a life long passion for women's reproductive rights and my training as a life coach, mind/body healer, lawyer, patient's rights advocate, childbirth educator and postpartum doula.
I look forward to helping you find clarity in your own unique path to motherhood.
THE EMBODIED CLARITY APPROACH
The Embodied Clarity Approach uses body mechanics, and energetic practices, to quiet the voices and uncover your clarity and desires. More importantly, you learn to discern the voices that are dead set on holding you back from your inner knowing and desires.
It’s not easy work. It takes courage. But my approach will help you harness the ability to find your truth and let go of the doubt, indecision, and blame.
From that grounded, clear place we can begin to evaluate options for pregnancy and parenting.
The result is a feeling of certainty and conviction as well as a willingness to put down the voices and messages that do not serve you on your path so you can open to what's possible and get down to becoming a mama.
A STORY OF PERSONAL TRIUMPH & UNCONDITIONAL LOVE
Motherhood Reimagined reveals what happens when we release what's expected and embrace what's possible.
This honest and informative memoir examines the issues facing both single moms by choice and any woman facing fertility issues and third party reproduction.
Motherhood Reimagined answers many questions such as: Why would someone decide to have a baby alone? How does one come to terms with not having a genetic link to her child? How can infertility be a means for personal growth and spiritual awakening?

Recently, I’ve been noticing that my 5-year-old son is going through a new phase in his processing that we are a mom-and-kid family—there is no dad in the picture since I used a sperm donor (often referred to as a single mom by choice). I know he’s processing because I’ve been getting reports from school…

Several years ago, my fortieth birthday fast approaching, I forced myself to ask whether I wanted to have a kid even though I didn’t yet have a partner. I knew my fertility window was closing and Mr. Right was decidedly absent. But I worried about whether I would be happy as a single mom. And…
Stacy tried for 8 years to have a baby. “Infertility is such a dark tunnel and it’s really really easy to get sucked up into that dark tunnel.” –Stacy After trying with her own eggs, Stacy had to get really clear about why she wanted to have a baby. Specifically she had to decide whether…

One of the most common concerns people bring up to me is who and how to tell other people about their child’s donor conception. It most regularly comes up for me when I’m talking to women about the use of an egg donor, but it’s relevant for anyone who’s used a sperm donor, adopted or…
What do you do when you really want something, but you’re not sure you can pull it off? Like those big, bold life choices, should you become a single mother by choice, quit your job or travel the world with your child? Do you get put off by the enormity of the decision, feeling like…
If you’ve decided to move forward as a single mom by choice, a lesbian couple or otherwise in need of a sperm donor, there comes a time when you need to pick a sperm donor. For most people they’ve never done anything like it. You’re choosing the person to provide half the genetic material for…
